To give a pleasant voting experience, Commission on Elections (COMELEC)-Bangued coordinates with government agencies to provide assistance desks for pregnant women, senior citizens, and persons with disability on the May 13 elections.

COMELEC Bangued Election Officer Rose Myrna Turqueza and Local Government Operations Officer Jean S. Hernandez are coordinating with the Municipal Social Worker Office, Philippine National Police, Rural Health Unit, Red Cross, SK Federation, and barangay health workers to establish breastfeeding and daycare stations, and medical and information desks in the voting centers in Bangued.

Turqueza said through their active participation, the youth and the different agencies will find a sense of responsibility in exercising people’s rights and building the nation through elections
