Immunization and Vaccination Campaign

  • Description: Strategic vaccination programs and campaigns to protect children and other population groups against preventable infectious diseases.

    • Newborn immunization (BCG, Hepatitis B)
    • Infant and child vaccination series (Pentavalent, Polio, PCV, IPV, MMR)
    • Adult immunizations (Tetanus, Influenza)
    • Special immunization campaigns for outbreak prevention

Newborn Screening and Early Detection Program

  • Description: Strategic early detection and diagnosis of congenital conditions in newborns to enable timely intervention and prevent disability or death.
  • Conditions Screened:
    • Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia (CAH)
    • Glucose 6 Phosphate Dehydrogenase Deficiency (G6PD)
    • Hemoglobin disorders
    • Congenital Hypothyroidism (CH)
  • Who Can Participate: All newborns born in provincial hospitals

Tuberculosis Control Program (TB-DOTS)

  • Description: Comprehensive tuberculosis screening, diagnosis, and directly observed therapy (DOTS) program for presumptive TB patients and TB-positive individuals.
  • Services Include:
    • TB screening and diagnosis
    • Directly observed therapy supervision
    • Patient counseling and health education
    • Treatment monitoring and support
    • Contact tracing and case management

Animal Bite Prevention and Rabies Vaccination Program

  • Description: Comprehensive post-exposure prophylaxis (vaccination) and medical management program for victims of animal bites to prevent rabies infection.

    • Immunoglobulin administration (if needed)
