Girl Scouts of the Philippines (GSP) Council Executive Jocelyn M. Javier conducted the orientation wherein she gave the guidelines of the Chief Girl Scout Medal Scheme to the Seventeen Girl Scout Candidates of Abra at the GSP Council Headquarters on July 6, 2019.

The candidates came from different schools such as Abra High School (6), Rosario Eduarte National High School (5), Gaddani National High School (3), Holy Spirit Academy of Bangued (2), and Marc Ysrael B. Bernos Memorial National High School (1).

Girl Scouts of the Philippines is an organization that offers services to girls, adult leaders, and the community. They provide services like training programs, camping, and gift-giving activities.

The organization develops the physical, mental, emotional, social, spiritual and all the other aspects of a whole being of the members.

The Chief Girl Scout Medal Scheme is one of the special programs of GSP which builds character and values of the girl scout candidates.

“I hope that you will continue to support our organization because it is for the character building and values formation of the members. I am asking for the full support of the parents of these girls. Scouting is a worthwhile activity for them,” Javier said.
