Chief Statistics Specialist Felixberto B. Perdido shared the Philippine Statistics Authority’s (PSA) mandate on April 1, 2019, to his fellow public servants in the implementation of the civil registry law, conduct of censuses, and surveys as bases in planning, policy formulation, and decision making.

PSA is conducting the April 2019 Labor Force Survey, Consumer Expectation Survey, Census of Philippine Business and Industry, and the Input and Output Survey on Philippine Business and Industry.

According to Perdido, PSA also conducts Retail Price Survey for Agriculture Commodities every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, bi-monthly price collection for the Consumer Price Index, and Weekly Cereal and Fertilizer price monitoring.

PSA also provides technical supervision to municipal civil registrars in the province such as registration of births, marriage, and deaths.

At the provincial office, individuals may request copies of certificates of birth, marriage, death, and certificate of no marriage (CENOMAR) on a Batch Request System.

There is a P195 fee for birth, marriage, and death certificate while CENOMAR fee is P250. Waiting period will be five to seven days but will take longer in case of technical problems.

For inquiries, Perdido said that individuals may visit their respective municipal registrar’s office and the Philippine Statistics Authority-Abra office located at DZPA Building, Rizal Corner Zamora Streets, Zone 6, Bangued, Abra.
