The COMELEC supervisor and officers were reshuffled to secure a clean and fair midterm elections 2019.

Atty. Dexter Barry A. Cawis assumed as the Provincial Election Supervisor of Abra on March 18, 2019, replacing Atty. Vanessa Roncal who assumed the assistant director position at COMELEC-Cordillera.

Atty. Cawis said the COMELEC-Abra will continue to work on preparations for the elections while coordinating with the Department of Interior and Local Government, PNP, and Philippine Army.

“We will be neutral and we will do our mandate based on the Fair Elections Act,” he said.
