Abra Padaya 2019 trade fair ran from March 1 until March 9, 2019, as part of the Abrenian Kawayan Festival 2019 to highlight the province’s homegrown products from 108 small and medium enterprises (SMEs).

The 64 SMEs had a total cash sale of P5.5 million and P3.3 million booked order from basketry, novelty items, bamboo furnishings, loom weaving, processed food, furniture, and plants.

Furniture had the highest sales with P7,032,470 cash and booked sales. Woven products improved a lot with P890,792 cash sales compared to P556,460 last year.

Participating municipalities had a total sale of P765,771 on fruits, vegetables, and other native products based on the record of the Office of the Provincial Agriculturist.  

The municipality of La Paz has the highest sale among the municipalities with P137,995.

Rodel Bolante of DTI-Abra said the Abra Padaya 2019 showcased all the products of Abra not only from SMEs but also from Abreño farmers and from the different municipalities.
