There are 128 health personnel applicants in the province who took the psychological examination this morning at the Provincial Capitol Social Hall.
The examination is one of the requirements of the Civil Service Commission for employment under the Human Resources for Health (HRH) program of the Department of Health (DOH).
According to the DOH-Abra Administration Officer Felix Damian, they can possibly hire 166 health professionals in the province. These include nurses, medical technicians, midwives, pharmacists, nutritionists, and a dentist.
The deployment of health professionals under the HRH program will augment the workforce in the rural health units from identified municipalities to provide quality access to health services especially to the poor, he added.
