Amid persistent Southwest Monsoon rains, the Provincial Government of Abra, in close coordination with the local government units of Tineg and Danglas, simultaneously extended assistance to 3,209 families on August 26, 2026.

A total of 1,773 families in Tineg and 1,436 families in Danglas received rice subsidies from the Office of the President through the Department of Budget and Management, together with food packs from the Provincial Government of Abra.

Through the leadership of Governor Eustaquio P. Bersamin and Vice Governor Anne A. Bersamin, and the close coordination with the two municipalities, assistance continues to reach communities affected by the Habagat rains, bringing timely support to families when they need it most.
