The Provincial Government of Abra, through the Provincial Health Office (PHO), convened health stakeholders for the 3rd Quarter Provincial Health Board Meeting on September 29, 2026, at the Capitol Social Hall to advance key health policies, programs, and services.
Presided over by Atty. Israel G. Bonite, representing Governor Eustaquio P. Bersamin, the meeting tackled priority initiatives, including protocols for leading causes of mortality and morbidity, customer feedback, patient referral systems, the 2026โ2028 Provincial Nutrition Action Plan, maternal and child nutrition, Barangay Health Worker empowerment, and the proposed Comprehensive Smoke-Free and Vape-Free Ordinance.
The meeting concluded with strengthened commitments and action points toward more responsive, accessible, and coordinated healthcare for every Abreรฑo.
