The Provincial Government of Abra, through the Office of the Vice Governor and in partnership with the Department of Science and Technology (DOST), distributed honey harvesting and packaging equipment to graduates of the Project HIVE (Harnessing Innovation for Village Empowerment) Training on Responsible Honey Extraction and Packaging on June 29, 2026, at the New Legislative Building.

Led by Vice Governor Anne A. Bersamin, the turnover equips beneficiaries with the tools needed to apply their newly acquired skills, improve honey quality and productivity, and create sustainable livelihood opportunities through beekeeping.

Project HIVE reflects the Provincial Government’s commitment to innovation-driven community development by empowering local beekeepers, strengthening Abra’s honey industry, and fostering entrepreneurship.
