The Provincial Government of Abra, through the Provincial Health Office (PHO) and Department of Health–Provincial DOH Office (PDOHO), in partnership with the Municipality of Danglas, strengthened its call for wider immunization coverage during the Measles-Rubella Supplemental Immunization Activity (MR-SIA) in Nagaparan, Danglas.

Vice Governor Anne A. Bersamin emphasized that vaccination is safe, effective, and essential in protecting children from measles, rubella, and other vaccine-preventable diseases. She called on families and communities to ensure that every eligible child receives the protection they need.

Bersamin expressed her appreciation to Mayor Esther B. Bernos and Acting Mayor Atty. Russell A. Bragas, along with health workers, barangay health workers, volunteers, partner agencies, and other stakeholders for their continued support.

“Ti nasalun-at nga ubing ket nasalun-at a masakbayan.” Protecting children today means building a healthier and stronger Abra tomorrow.
