The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), in partnership with the Provincial Government of Abra through the Public Employment Service Office (PESO), formally turned over a ₱24,063,250 TUPAD assistance check to Governor Eustaquio Bersamin on July 2, 2026, at the Abra Provincial Capitol.

The assistance, presented by DOLE Regional Director Imelda E. Romanillos, will provide temporary employment and financial support to eligible workers from the 4th class municipalities of La Paz, Sallapadan, Bucloc, Daguioman, Langiden, and Lagayan.

This initiative reflects the strong collaboration between DOLE and the Provincial Government of Abra in creating opportunities, uplifting livelihoods, and building more resilient communities across the province.
