

The Provincial Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise Development (MSMED) Council convened its Second Quarter Meeting on July 13, 2026, at the Provincial Capitol Social Hall in Bangued, Abra, bringing together government agencies and industry partners to strengthen collaboration in advancing local MSMEs.
Led by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), the meeting reviewed second quarter accomplishments, outlined second semester priorities, and discussed strategies to enhance entrepreneurship, expand market opportunities, and improve the competitiveness of Abraβs MSMEs. Updates were also presented on priority industry clusters, including bamboo, coffee, cacao, processed fruits and nuts, wearables and homestyles, and the creative industry.
The meeting reaffirmed the councilβs shared commitment to fostering a more resilient and competitive MSME sector that drives employment, innovation, and inclusive economic growth across the province.
