The Provincial Government of Abra, through the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (PDRRMC), in partnership with the Department of Social Welfare and Development–Cordillera Administrative Region (DSWD-CAR), officially opened the Training on the Comprehensive Emergency Program for Children (CEPC) on June 30 at the Abra Sports Complex Gymnasium.

On behalf of Governor Eustaquio P. Bersamin, Provincial Information Officer Atty. King Blas Jervin Pagtailan conveyed the Governor’s message, reaffirming the Provincial Government’s commitment to protecting children and strengthening disaster preparedness across the province.

The three-day training brings together 61 Municipal Social Welfare and Development Officers (MSWDOs) from across Abra, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to ensure the safety, protection, and well-being of children before, during, and after emergencies and disasters.
