The Abra Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO), in partnership with the School DRRM Coordinators of the SANVILLAR District, conducted an Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) Campaign on Disaster Preparedness on July 13, 2026, at Pilar Rural High School as part of the observance of National Disaster Resilience Month.

The activity empowered students, teachers, and school personnel with essential knowledge and practical skills in disaster preparedness and emergency response, reinforcing a culture of resilience and ensuring safer, more disaster-ready schools and communities.
