The Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (PDRRMC) convened its 3rd Quarter Full Council Meeting on September 30, 2026, at the Abra Provincial Capitol Atrium, strengthening coordination and preparedness for the safety of all AbreΓ±os.
Presided over by Cris Albolote, representing Governor Eustaquio P. Bersamin, PDRRMC Chairperson, the meeting tackled weather and climate outlooks, disaster fund programming, health and disease surveillance, and recent response and relief efforts.
The Council also highlighted proactive preparedness through the DOST HANDA Abra Activity and strengthened emergency protocols for schools.
