The Provincial Government of Abra, led by Governor Takit P. Bersamin and Vice Governor Anne A. Bersamin, through the Office of the Vice Governor, the Provincial Agriculturist Office, and the Provincial Health Office, joined the Retooled Community Support Program (RCSP) Serbisyo Caravan on July 21, 2026, at the Municipal Gymnasium in Poblacion, Villaviciosa.

The caravan brought essential government programs and services closer to residents, particularly those in geographically isolated and disadvantaged areas (GIDAS). The Provincial Agriculturist Office highlighted agricultural support initiatives, the Office of the Vice Governor showcased legislative and livelihood programs for farmers, fisherfolk, and women, while the Provincial Health Office presented the healthcare services available through the Abra Provincial Hospital.

The initiative reflects the Provincial Governmentโ€™s unwavering commitment, in partnership with the Municipality of Villaviciosa, to deliver accessible, responsive, and people-centered public service to every Abreรฑo.

In observance of the 2026 National Disaster Resilience Month, the Abra Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (PDRRMC) led a tree-planting activity in Tangadan, Abra, on July 21, 2026, in line with this yearโ€™s theme, โ€œNaghahanda at Kumikilos Tungo sa Panatag na Bagong Pilipinas.โ€
