


During its 29th Regular Session in Lagangilang, the Sangguniang Panlalawigan approved and endorsed several measures aimed at strengthening local governance and improving public services.
Among the key actions were the authorization of agreements with the Department of Agriculture for farm to market road projects, the adoption of a municipal ordinance establishing official citizen feedback and complaint mechanisms, and resolutions supporting food assistance and livestock development programs.
The Board also advanced measures on sanitation fees and traffic regulations to promote public health and road safety. Vice Governor Anne Bersamin directed the Environment Committee to coordinate with the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office in preparation for the rainy season. The Board likewise emphasized the immediate turnover of motorized ferries for the communities of Mabongtot, Langiden and Collago, Lagayan.
These initiatives underscore the Provincial Boardโs commitment to responsive governance, stronger infrastructure, and sustainable community development.
