The Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (PDRRMC), in partnership with the Department of Social Welfare and Development – Cordillera Administrative Region (DSWD-CAR), conducted the Training on Camp Coordination and Camp Management and Internally Displaced Population Protection to strengthen Abra’s disaster preparedness and emergency response systems.

Representing Governor Eustaquio Bersamin, Atty. King Blas Jervin Pagtailan emphasized the importance of preparedness, coordination, and compassion in protecting communities and ensuring resilient recovery during times of crisis.

Resource speakers Ms. Deborah D. Berong, Ms. Angela M. Ocawe, and Mr. Joseph E. Tolingan of DSWD SWAD Abra shared vital insights on effective camp management and the protection of internally displaced populations, reinforcing a united commitment to safer and more resilient communities.
