The Provincial Government of Abra, led by Governor Eustaquio P. Bersamin and Vice Governor Anne A. Bersamin, through the Provincial Health Office led by Dr. Frances Marie Alexis B. Gasa, joined the Municipality of Pilar in the Pilar Kontra Dengue: Dengue Prevention and Awareness Activity on August 26, 2026.
Vice Governor Anne Bersamin emphasized that defeating dengue begins with simple yet collective action: keeping our surroundings clean, eliminating mosquito-breeding sites, and protecting every community.
With the active participation of Mayor Tyron Christopher BeroΓ±a, Vice Mayor Mario Agbusac, together with municipal officials, health workers, volunteers, and residents, Pilar stands united in the fight against dengue.
