The Provincial Government of Abra proudly joined the Opening Program of the 39th Cordillera Month Celebration on July 1, 2026, at the Benguet Sports Complex Gymnasium in Wangal, La Trinidad, Benguet, standing in solidarity with the Cordillera Region in advancing a future built on innovation, unity, and inclusive development.

Welcoming delegates from across the region, Benguet Governor Melchor Diclas underscored the importance of collective action in realizing a stronger and more progressive Cordillera. Guided by the theme, “Smart Cordillera: Enabling Local Enterprises Through Digital Transformation and Accelerated Regional Autonomy,” the celebration reaffirmed the region’s shared commitment to empowering communities, strengthening local enterprises, and advancing regional autonomy.

Representing Governor Eustaquio P. Bersamin, Vice Governor Anne Bersamin delivered Abra’s message of solidarity, emphasizing that through shared purpose, collaboration, and unwavering unity, the Cordillera will continue to thrive as one region with one vision for a brighter future.
