The Provincial Government of Abra, through the Provincial Health Office (PHO), in coordination with the Provincial Nutrition Committee (PNC), convened its Third Quarter Meeting on September 15, 2026, at the APH Conference Room, Calaba, Bangued, Abra.

The meeting focused on the Provincial Nutrition Action Plan (PNAP) 2026–2028 and updates on key nutrition initiatives, including the OPT Results, NutriLEAP, Deep Dive Activity, NutriLEAD Module 1, and other PNC programs and activities.

Representing Governor Eustaquio “Takit” P. Bersamin, Atty. Israel G. Bonite reaffirmed the Provincial Government’s commitment to strengthening nutrition interventions, particularly in municipalities facing challenges in addressing child malnutrition.

The meeting underscored the importance of sustained inter-agency collaboration and collective action in advancing nutrition outcomes and ensuring that essential interventions reach communities and families who need them most.
