Government ICT personnel from various provincial and municipal offices in Abra are enhancing their technical capabilities through the five-day Python Programming Essential Course conducted by the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) Abra Provincial Office, in partnership with the Provincial Government of Abra and the Department of the Interior and Local Government, from June 22 to 26, 2026, at the Capitol Social Hall.

The training equips participants with fundamental programming and automation skills essential to advancing digital transformation initiatives in government. Sessions are facilitated by Mr. Juniven D. Saavedra, Senior Python Developer and Data Engineer of IBM, who shares valuable industry knowledge and modern programming practices.

Through this initiative, DICT continues to empower government employees with relevant digital competencies, fostering innovation and promoting more efficient and responsive public service delivery.
