Forty-two fisherfolk in Tayum received 92,500 fingerlings from the Provincial Government of Abra, through the Office of the Vice Governor, in partnership with BFAR–CAR, on July 2.

Sourced from the La Trinidad Regional Fish Farm and Loach Center, the fingerlings will help boost fish production, strengthen livelihoods, and enhance food security in the community.

This initiative reflects the Provincial Government’s continued commitment to empowering fisherfolk and advancing sustainable fisheries development across Abra.
