On June 10, 2026, the Provincial Government of Abra continued its province-wide relief operations in the Municipality of Bucay, marking the 20th day of its ongoing humanitarian mission. A total of 6,995 families received rice and other essential goods to help ease the challenges faced by affected communities.

Governor Takit P. Bersamin and Vice Governor Anne A. Bersamin, together with SP Member Ruy Bernardez, provincial employees, and municipal personnel, led the distribution efforts, ensuring the timely delivery of assistance.

Representing Mayor Jaja Bernos, Vice Mayor Jojo Zales conveyed the municipality’s gratitude, emphasizing that the support brings not only relief but also hope and encouragement to Bucay residents.
