A delegation from the Department of Tourism – Cordillera Administrative Region paid a courtesy call on Governor Eustaquio P. Bersamin on May 28, 2026, at the Abra Provincial Capitol, reaffirming the strong partnership between the tourism sector and the Provincial Government of Abra in promoting sustainable local development.

Governor Bersamin expressed his gratitude for the continued collaboration and support of DOT-CAR in advancing tourism initiatives across the province.

Discussions during the visit centered on the initial assessment in Lagayan, Abra for the Search for the Best Tourism Village in the Cordilleras 2026, as well as updates on the ongoing DOT accreditation campaign.
