Based on the data from the Office of the Provincial Agriculturist of Abra, headed by Engr. Christopher Gulloy, a total of 536 farmers have been affected by the combined impacts of Typhoons Luis and Maymay and the Southwest Monsoon.

As of August 10, 2026, the initial assessment recorded 187 hectares of agricultural crops damaged, consisting of 138 hectares of rice, 42 hectares of corn, and 7 hectares of fruits and vegetables, with an estimated total damage of ₱5,525,850.

The photographs show the extent of crop damage and flooding in agricultural areas of Bangued, San Juan, Lagangilang, and Licuan-Baay, where farmers and their crops have been affected by persistent heavy rains and flooding.

The Provincial Government of Abra, through the Office of the Provincial Agriculturist, continues to assess the situation and facilitate appropriate assistance and recovery interventions for affected farmers.
