The Provincial Government of Abra, under the leadership of Governor Eustaquio Bersamin, convened the Office of the Presidential Adviser on Peace, Reconciliation and Unity Transformation Program pre-planning meeting on June 18, 2026, at the Abra Provincial Social Hall to strengthen peacebuilding and development initiatives in the province.

The meeting focused on presenting the Transformation Program framework and identifying key procedures for its effective implementation. Joining the discussions were Local Government Operations Officer V Kylee Russel R. Bognadon of the Department of the Interior and Local Government, Environmental Planner Santos Bernardez of the Provincial Planning and Development Office, Officer-in-Charge Icee Molina of the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office, Project Development Officer V Jessica Banganan-Assong, and Peace Program Officer III Athaliah Tulay from the Office of the Presidential Adviser on Peace, Reconciliation and Unity.

The gathering highlighted strong inter-agency collaboration and reaffirmed the commitment of all stakeholders to pursue inclusive, sustainable, and people-centered peace and development initiatives for the province.
