On June 9, 2026, the Provincial Government of Abra, under the leadership of Governor Eustaquio Bersamin and Vice Governor Anne Bersamin, distributed Fuel Cash Assistance to 3,000 farmers at the Abra Sports Complex.

Each beneficiary received ₱3,000 to help ease rising production costs and strengthen agricultural productivity and food security in the province.

Through Provincial Information Officer Atty. King Blas Jervin Pagtailan, Governor Bersamin reaffirmed the provincial government’s commitment to empowering farmers through responsive and sustainable programs. Vice Governor Anne Bersamin likewise expressed gratitude for the farmers’ dedication and encouraged continued unity within the agricultural sector.

The initiative was spearheaded by the Office of the Provincial Agriculturist, led by Engr. Christopher Gulloy, as part of ongoing efforts to support local farmers amid increasing fuel and production expenses.
