Under the leadership of Governor Eustaquio P. Bersamin, the Provincial Government of Abra convened the 2nd Quarter Joint Meeting of the Provincial Peace and Order Council (PPOC), Provincial Anti-Drug Abuse Council (PADAC), and Provincial Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (PTF-ELCAC) on June 23, 2026, at Gov. Andres B. Bernos Hall, Camp Col. Juan Villamor, Calaba, Bangued, Abra.
Representing Governor Bersamin, Atty. Noreen Bragas presided over the meeting attended by government agencies, law enforcement units, and key stakeholders to assess peace and order initiatives, anti-illegal drug programs, and community development efforts in the province.
The meeting reaffirmed the Provincial Government of Abraโs commitment to strengthening inter-agency collaboration and advancing a whole-of-nation approach toward a peaceful, secure, and progressive Abra for all Abreรฑos.
