The Abra Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) conducted a two-day Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) on Disaster Preparedness and Barangay Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (BDRRM) Plan Workshop on July 16–17, 2026, in Daguioman, Abra.

Barangay officials, BDRRM Committees, and local stakeholders strengthened their knowledge on disaster preparedness while enhancing their Barangay DRRM Plans to better address the hazards and risks facing their communities.

The initiative underscores Daguioman’s commitment to building safer, more resilient barangays through proactive planning, collaboration, and community preparedness.
