The Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (PDRRMC) convened its 2nd Quarter Full Council Meeting on June 29, 2026, at the Abra Provincial Capitol Social Hall to strengthen disaster preparedness and resilience across the province.
Representing Governor Eustaquio โTakitโ Bersamin, PDRRMC Chairperson, Provincial Information Officer Atty. King Blas Jervin Pagtailan delivered the Governorโs message and presided over the meeting, reaffirming the Provincial Governmentโs commitment to safeguarding lives and communities.
Council members and partner agencies presented updates on disaster preparedness, National Disaster Resilience Month activities, fire incidents, El Niรฑo impacts, public health, road conditions, and other key concerns, reinforcing the importance of sustained coordination in building a safer and more resilient Abra.
