The Provincial Government of Abra, through the Provincial Health Office led by Dr. Frances Marie Alexis B. Gasa, in partnership with the Municipality of Boliney under Mayor Ronald Balao-as, strengthened its campaign to protect children through the Measles-Rubella Supplemental Immunization Activity and Vitamin A Supplementation 2026 on August 19 in Bao-yan, Boliney.

Vice Governor Anne A. Bersamin emphasized the importance of vaccination and Vitamin A supplementation in protecting children from preventable diseases. She urged parents and guardians to ensure that eligible children receive the necessary protection.

She also commended Mayor Balao-as, Vice Mayor Benipaz Balao-as Anongos, the Boliney RHU, MSWDO, and partner LGUs for their collaboration in bringing essential health services closer to families. Through strengthened partnerships, Abra continues to work toward wider immunization coverage and no child left behind.
