The Provincial Government of Abra continued its province-wide relief operations on May 14, 2026, delivering rice and essential supplies to 1,515 families in the upland municipality of Lacub. Despite long travel hours and difficult mountain roads, the mission pushed through to ensure that assistance reached communities in need.

Led by Governor Takit P. Bersamin and Vice Governor Anne A. Bersamin, the continuing relief mission reflects the province’s commitment to serve every community, including those in remote areas across Abra.

Sangguniang Panlalawigan Members Panchet Bringas and Ivan Benwaren personally led the distribution in Lacub, while Vice Mayor Nestor Bersamina expressed gratitude for the province’s continued support. Now on its 14th day, the relief mission continues to bring hope, care, and essential assistance to families across the province.
