The Provincial Government of Abra, through the Provincial Health Office, in partnership with the Department of HealthโCHD Cordillera, the National Nutrition Council, and the Zuellig Family Foundation, successfully conducted the Nutrition Leadership and Equity Acceleration Program (NutriLEAP) Executive Session and Governorโs Engagement with the Mayors (ES-GEM) on June 29, 2026, at the ASIST Social Hall.
The activity brought together municipal mayors, members of the Provincial Nutrition Committee, and key health partners to strengthen nutrition governance, improve food security, and advance evidence-based interventions against malnutrition.
The session concluded with a renewed commitment among local leaders and development partners to work together in building a healthier, more resilient, and well-nourished Abra for every Abreรฑo.
