The Provincial Government of Abra, led by Vice Governor Anne Bersamin, conducted a benchmarking activity at the Mariano Marcos Memorial Hospital and Medical Center (MMMHMC) on August 4, 2026, together with officials from the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, PDRRMO, and Provincial Health Office.
Hosted by Medical Center Chief II Dr. Maria Lourdes K. Otayza and Dr. Jose Orosa III, the activity focused on best practices in neonatal emergency transport, referral systems, ambulance dispatch protocols, and resilient healthcare services. Discussions also explored the integration of stroke management into Abraโs referral network.
Through this initiative, the Provincial Government continues to strengthen coordinated, responsive, and lifesaving healthcare services for every Abreรฑo.
