The Abra Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (PDRRMC) convened a Pre-Disaster Risk Assessment (PDRA) meeting on July 8, 2026, at the Abra Provincial Capitol Social Hall to strengthen preparedness and coordinate response efforts ahead of Super Typhoon “Inday.”

Led by LDRRMO IV Elmer Bersamin, the meeting gathered national and local partner agencies to discuss situational updates, disaster preparedness measures, and inter-agency coordination. SWAD Team Leader Claudine Campos-Cosi reported that the Abra Satellite Warehouse has 10,915 family food packs, 2,294 non-food items, and 93 ready-to-eat food packs available for emergency response.

The activity reaffirmed the Provincial Government of Abra’s commitment to proactive disaster preparedness, strengthened coordination, and the protection of the lives and welfare of every Abreño.
