The Provincial Government of Abra, under the leadership of Governor Eustaquio P. Bersamin and Vice Governor Anne A. Bersamin, proudly hosted the Men Opposed to Violence Everywhere (MOVE) Cordillera Mid-Year Consultation from June 2–4, 2026, at Bahay Pag-asa, Calaba, Bangued, Abra.

The consultation brought together MOVE officers, local government officials, social welfare practitioners, and advocates from the different provinces of the Cordillera Administrative Region, fostering collaboration and strengthening the collective commitment to gender equality and the eradication of violence against women and children.

The activity was spearheaded by Atty. King Blas Jervin Pagtailan, Provincial President of MOVE Abra, together with Vice President Jr Umipig and Secretariat Grainy Zelle Belong, in partnership with the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO) and the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).
