The Provincial Government of Abra, under the leadership of Governor Eustaquio P. Bersamin and Vice Governor Anne A. Bersamin, through the Provincial Information Office headed by Atty. King Blas Jervin C. Pagtailan, in partnership with the Philippine Information Agency–Abra Information Center, gathered information officers and designated communicators from LGUs and national government agencies for ABRAI: Advancing Better & Responsible AI for Public Information on September 1, 2026, at the Abra Capitol Social Hall.

Duly supported and encouraged by the Governor and Vice Governor, the capacity-building activity equips government communicators with practical knowledge on the responsible use of AI in news writing, content creation, and public information dissemination; while upholding accuracy, ethics, transparency, accountability, and fact-checking.

Through ABRAI, the PGA and PIA advance human-led, AI-assisted, and public service-driven communication; ensuring that technology empowers, rather than replaces, the people behind credible and people-centered public information.
