The Gabaldon Building in ASIST Bangued Campus is one of the school buildings built during the first decades of the American colonial rule. It was designed by American Architect  William Parsons funded through Act Number 1801 by Isauro Gabaldon, former member of the Philippine Assembly from 1907-1911.

 

With the ratification of the National Heritage Act of 2009 or RA 10077, Gabaldon buildings with its structures dating 50 years old are considered “Important Cultural Properties” unless declared otherwise by the National Historical Commission of the Philippines.  An Important Cultural Property refers to a cultural property having exceptional cultural, artistic, and historical significance to the Philippines and which shall be given among others priority government funding for its protection, conservation, and or restoration.
